PATTERN NOTES

This entire pattern is worked with yarn A held doubled.

When casting off stitches, cast off knitwise when working on a RS row, and purlwise when working on a WS row.

STITCH PATTERNS

TUCK STITCH TEXTURE PATTERN

(worked over an odd number of sts and 28 rows)

Row 1 with yarn B (WS): Purl to end.

Row 2 with B (RS): K2, P1, (K1, P1) to last 2 sts, K2.

Row 3 with A: P2, K1, (P1, K1) to last 2 sts, P2.

Row 4 with A: K2, P1, (TK, P1) to last 2 sts, K2.

Repeat Rows 1 to 4 another 5 times.

Row 25 with B: As Row 1.

Row 26 with B: As Row 2.

Row 27 with A: Knit to end.

Row 28 with A: Purl to end.

BACK

Using 4mm needles, yarn A held doubled and the long-tail method, cast on 91 (101:111:121:131:141:151:161:171) sts.

Row 1 (RS): Purl to end.

Row 2 (WS): Knit to end.

Row 3: As Row 1.

Begin Tuck Stitch Texture Pattern and join in yarn B when necessary. **
