    Chapter 1

    A Midmorning Crisis!

It’s been about three quarters of a year after Bob Piercem had his last adventure, and he’s still relaxing with his wife, Hannah Kadabra, now called Hannah Piercem. Well, he was relaxing with his wife, but now he’s just relaxing outside his house eating a bowl of pasta and reading a newspaper…

‘Ahhh,’ Bob said as he got himself ready to read his newspaper, ‘it’s a nice, hot day, and there’s nothing like reading the newspaper when you can’t think of anything better to do! Let’s see, hmmm… the main headlines seem to be Insect Wins Spelling Bee. That must be one skilled insect! Hmmm… Floating Pink Blob Wins 100, 000 Dropos in Talent Show. Interesting…And, lastly, we have Little Girl Goes Missing. Hmmm… here’s a picture of the girl here. It says that if anybody finds her, then they will get a huge reward. Oh well, I guess I’ll take a look at the picture, then. Whoa?! It can’t be! It’s Hannah’s sister, Anna! Well, it looks like her, anyway. I’d better tell Hannah right away! Hannah! Quick! Look at this!’

Hannah quickly ran over to Bob when she heard him shout to her.

‘What is it, honey?’ She asked.

‘Um,’ Bob hesitated, ‘I don’t quite know how to say this, but your sister is missing!’

‘What? When did she go missing?’

‘No idea. I just read it in this newspaper, so it must have been recently.’

‘Well, we’ve just got to find her, Bob!’

‘Don’t worry, after we find James and Pip, we’ll go and look for your sister. We probably need all the help we can get!’

‘Who should we look for first?’

‘Probably Pip, because he’s probably working at that store of his right now in Watertown, so he should be easy to find.’

‘Let’s go, then! We have no time to lose!’

‘You’re right! Let’s go to Watertown!’

With that, Bob and Hannah rushed over to Watertown.

    Chapter 2

    Watertown Frown

‘So, what can I do for you?’ Pip, the walking, talking skeleton, who had his black top hat asked a young girl wearing what seemed like a brown cat costume and a light blue t-shirt with a picture of a cat on it who had just walked over to the counter of his party shop.

‘Have you got any cute, black cat cuddly toys?’ the young girl asked while looking around the shop.

    ‘I might,’ Pip replied.

‘You see,’ the girl continued, ‘I used to have a cat. I got him last year. (Sob) He came to me and jumped into my arms. He had a collar. It said Morty on the collar. But one day, two old women with pointy hats came and took him away from me! (Sob) So, I came here to buy a cuddly toy cat to remind me of Morty. I miss him so much! Waaaaahhhh!!!’

‘Uh,’ Pip said, almost speechless, ‘I wish I could cry.’

‘Huh?’ the girl asked in a confused tone of voice.

‘Uh, never mind!’ Pip said, quickly. ‘Um, I’m sure I sell cuddly toy cats. Hold on a second, please!’

‘It has to be a black one!’ the girl stated.

Suddenly, two people ran into Pip’s shop.

‘Pip!’ Bob shouted. ‘We have a dilemma!’

‘You think you have problems,’ Pip began, ‘just wait until you hear this: This girl has just had her cat, which is black, taken away from her by two women wearing pointy hats. How’s that for upsetting?’

‘Wow!’ Bob said in a shocked tone of voice. ‘Uh…’

‘Wait a second!’ Hannah interrupted. ‘Those women, could they be those witches we killed last year?’

‘But we killed those witches, Hannah!’ Bob replied.

‘We survived that explosion, so who’s to say that they didn’t survive the explosion?’

‘We’ve got to find that cat, Hannah!’ Bob said.

‘Hold on!’ Hannah said. ‘That cat did belong to those witches, so it does belong to those witches. Besides, we don’t know where these witches are, anymore. There’s nothing we can do!’

‘But,’ Bob said, ‘just look at those puppy dog eyes, Hannah! How can you say no to helping her?’

‘Okay,’ Hannah gave in, ‘we’ll help her! I never liked those witches, anyway.’

‘Then it’s settled!’ Bob said. ‘Pip, want to
