About this audiobook

They tried to break us. They almost did. But we're not going anywhere. The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don't know what's coming. We have to be smart. Fighting them one on one isn't an option so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won't be easy, but if we pull it off, they'll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart.

Besides, they've already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?

Author

Caroline Peckham

Caroline Peckham is the author of the YA Fantasy series The Rise of Isaac (Book 1: Creeping Shadow was released December 2015). She began writing after her passion for young adult fantasy fiction grew to an obsession and she loves that she is now not only a fan of the genre but now an author of it too. Caroline lives in the south east of London in a tiny, quintessentially English town where you'll find an abundance of tea shops, pubs and rain. She has a BSc in Zoology from The University of Reading and, when not writing, still has a mind for science and googles every question that springs to mind. She adores animals, adventure trips, and watching the latest fantasy, action, paranormal and science fiction films at the cinema.

The narrator/actress playing the role of Geraldine is completely wrong. This actress should play the role of Darius fiancé. If you’re someone who listened to the other audiobooks, this actress would be completely offputting. Geraldine was happy, lively, funny and this actress just sounds very butch. But the actress/ narrator who actually plays Darius fiancé, should be the one playing Geraldine.

I was riveted and could not get enough, which is puzzling bc eveything was too cheesy, too over the top, but I think the dynamic between the characters was so intense and explosive that you cannot put the book down. The Performances were very good and as always the cherry on top.
