Dr. Lauren Briscoll, a hardworking physician, has been living a fast-paced life, putting her job before everything else. When Lauren's grandmother passes away, she returns to her hometown, where she reunites with Hunter, her high school sweetheart, and they find themselves drawn to each other once again. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5While I've never been crazy about this narrator, I enjoy the stories themselves. My only problem with a lot of lesbian fiction is the stereotyping of relationships being between very masculine butches and fems. I'm the type of lesbian that isn't attracted to masculine lesbians, because if I wanted a man, I'd be with one. I prefer women that are like me, tomboyish but never mistaken for a male.
