I especially liked the spiritual/mental focus of the book. I practice mindfulness and have noticed an increase in my ability to focus, which is exactly what I needed. I'm on day 8 of my fast and knew I needed something to help with my motivation. I'm glad I clicked on this book. It gives a really simplified lecture on the many benefits, and possible pitfalls, but how to rectify/avoid them. It doesn't waste time trying to convince you with facts, figures, statistics, or scriptures. Believe it or not, it's good for us.1 person found this helpful
