What a wonderful and sweet book. It warmed my heart. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story and characters to life.

Super heavy. Very sweet. This is the heaviest book in the series... which is saying a lot considering one book starts with the death of a best friend/lover, and another book involved two trafficked men. This is also basically an ACE book with almost no sex. So I wont recommend it for Smutty Book Club, but it might be great for MM Book Club. Also it just has all the care, which is so sweet.

Gale is a Demi Sexual Dom who falls for Saxton the damaged and vulnerable little when he shows up in Gale's ER. Their meet cute is the best. Their budding relationship is so beautiful. It might be my favorite in the series.

Want to feel like you are in a cold shower after reading the rest of the series? Want a daddy kink book with no daddy kink or sex? Want to really really experience the patience Gale has for Saxton? Then this is the book for you. I felt like nothing really happened and I stubbornly kept listening because surely something would happen to make me care, and well, it didn't. If I had been reading a hard copy I could have just skipped to end and saved myself.
