Jane Austen (1775- 1817) was a British author, that achieved success during her own lifetime. She is known for her romance novels, that use irony, critique of realism and social commentary. Her works have not only earned her praise, but are considered to be classic literature, as well as being taught and schools, being considered “must reads”, and continue to have variations of them produced in Film/TV/etc..

This production is one of its kind as not only is it full length, but it is also a theatrical production. You will hear both the complete text that Ms. Austen penned, as well the story itself as the various characters enjoy unique voices that acted them out, original music by Grammy nominee Sharon Farber, and sound effects that follow the story.

Not all the narrators were good, and the overbearing music that makes it extremely hard to hear the dialogue is the worst, but it’s pride and prejudice, so you’ll enjoy it nonetheless
