Very sweet! After reading the series and then finding this novella, it was a nice surprise, and I enjoyed reading the prequel to it all.

I especially enjoyed the ending as Mr. Gardiner and Miss Sharpe were "introduced." Definitely left a silly smile on my face.

I had read this book when it was a free novella in a year long promotion. It inspired me to read/listen to the rest of the Clairvoir Castle series. I loved them so much.

The special promotion recently ended and the author announced that the novella was available for purchase in all the formats. I knew I needed to listen to it!

This was a welcome hug from old friends. The familiar narrator reading about familiar characters was just what my heart needed.

If you have read the others in the series, this is basically the prequel that introduces us to the Duke and Duchess. It's a lovely novella that I highly recommend.
