Essential, relevant, concise, precise, inspiring. Although I am not a Lutheran, Luther is my favorite character in Church history. Thus, I have read many biographies of Luther, and many of his works even in Latin. I love this book by Trueman. He made a formidable job by summarizing the life and work of Luther and showing his strengths and contributions, and yet also his flaws as a human he was. This book is a great contribution. A must read. I really enjoyed it and will recommend it to my friends.
