About this audiobook

Relocated to a resort community in North Carolina, the Carrullo family is existing--but not much more. An attempt to boost the spirits of the family matriarch results in a widely successful independent business and an out-of-control partner who brings the family unwanted press coverage and notoriety. Unfortunately, the notoriety attracts the attention of a foreign head of state with an axe to grind. Before the worst can come to pass, the family is relocated once again, this time to their original hometown. This doesn't stop a determined foreign enemy who tries a different approach to solve his "Carrullo problem."

The Carrullo family is a multi-generation member of American organized crime. Their expertise is prized by the other families for those circumstances when internal family problems cannot be resolved within the family. The Carrullos are well known within organized crime but not the general public. However, an American intelligence agency discovers their existence. Rather than inform the law enforcement establishment, the agency discovers the Carrullos are an ideal solution to a challenging problem. The Carrullos unwillingly take on the agency as a client to avoid criminal prosecution.

Unfortunately, a Russian Federation intelligence organization discovers the Carrullos as well. They want the exclusive use of the family's talent, and they're willing to go to extremes to make that happen.
