Most of these post apocalyptic books get so depressing and every gets so damn serious. They come down to guns and gear talk. This series isn't like those. It maintains humor in the face of all the doom and gloom surroundings. So much better.

I usually find a book to fall asleep to but even though the narrator has a great, pleasant voice, no way was I getting any sleep tonight. Even if the narrator had sucked the story would has kept me interested. Started to wonder if the author was a writer for the tv show z nation. It’s humorous but you still feel the pain. Totally loved it even if I had to wait until daylight to keep listening. Looking forward to listening or reading the rest in the series.
