- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It's a short one. A cosmic love letter to dead friend/pet in this case.
It makes you to just want to sit in silence and think about it.
Yes, it's basically a love song to a cat by an astronaut after he lost him, and who happens to think that this loss is larger than the fact that the human race is going extinct. But it's also a very poignant and deep story about grieving and coming to terms with loss, friendship and love. And also a tale about the Solar system. It's an unusual book, but I honestly will not forget it anytime soon. It will give you the feels, and if you've lost a close friend in your life, especially a pet friend... you will bawl your eyes out.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Short & sweet (a bit too short though having me wanting more to the story than was offered). Overall this book was really enjoyable to listen to with the emotional aspect of the main character and the unexpected hilarious portions in the story from the interactions and responses the main character experienced. Great book.
