About this audiobook
In the stunning series conclusion to the Fae trilogy, Caroline and Devilyn must preserve their love as dark forces threaten to keep them apart.
As Caroline struggles to accept her rightful place as Queen of the Light Fae, her relationship with Devilyn, son of the Dark King, begins to seem not only doomed, but dangerous. They know their connection is undeniable, but for others, their love is an insidious threat.
Trapped in a plot concocted by the Dark King Alderon and his evil associate, Puck, Caroline must search her history and develop her own powers in order to survive. And as Alderon tries to appeal to the Dark inside Devilyn, Caroline begins to doubt that they can ever have a future together.
Weaving together narratives from Caroline and Devilyn’s pasts as well as their present, THE QUEEN finishes the battle between Light and Dark. Will Caroline and Devilyn's love outlast the war? And will Caroline live to rule as the Queen of the Light?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this book series it was captivating. In the last book. After listening to the first 2 books, I wasn't really sure where this book was going to take me. The ways the booking came to an end surprise me. It was a sweet love story told in a way I had never heard a book be read before. Having both a female and a male narrating the 2 different main characters was something I really enjoyed. I hope I can find other books that are near rated as this one was. ❤️??
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I do wonder if I should have stuck out this series til the end, but I did and I will say the conclusion was satisfying. In comparison to other YA dystopian series, however, the Blackcoat Rebellion doesn't stack up all that well and sometimes the character behavior and development left a lot to be desired. I liked it better than I liked Captive (the second book in the series), but I can't say I'm enthralled with the series overall.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book really pulled the whole series together and after my annoyance with the last book this was a refreshing change. I think Kitty really matures in this book, that isn't to say that she always goes along with the plan but I think she finally wakes up to her situation and the help or the hindrance that she can be. As the war between the Black Coats and the government builds and ultimately gets resolved there is tension, tears and triumph. Well done ending to this trilogy which had its issues in book 2 but Pawn and Queen really held this series together.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I really got into this the first book in this trilogy. I could not wait to wait to read book two. I instantly put the second book on my list to read. I still have not read it yet but I am not one of those types that has to always read books in chronological order. Maybe if I had read book two it might have changed my perception of this book. Although, I don't think it would help that much. I was disappointed in this book. It felt like there was aa lot of talk but not a lot of action. Not until the last third of the story. Kitty did not seem like the stronger leader I was seeing emerge from the first book. Also, I found Knox to be annoying, so I was not a fan that much of the love interest. Therefore, you could say I was indifferent to the ending of this book and trilogy. After reading this book and several others by this author I have to say that I have a hit and miss relationship with books written by this author. I am still awaiting for that series that I can become a fan of as I do think this author could strike my fancy.
