About this audiobook

Private Investigator Dick Moonlight returns to chase down a cop gone bad in the next installment of author Vincent Zandri’s clever and cunning Moonlight series.

Moonlight has hit some turbulence. Sure, his bar burned to the ground; his significant other, Lola, left him for another man; the private eye business is slow; and his evenings are now spent with his new pal, Jack Daniels. But this is real turbulence—in a plane, going down fast, and he’s waking up handcuffed to an FBI agent. How he got there is a little fuzzy, thanks to the sliver of a .22 caliber hollow-point bullet lodged in his brain.

Once on the ground, and after a few bumps and bruises, things become clearer and more dangerous. Thinking he’s been brought to FBI headquarters for drunk-dialing the IRS, Moonlight learns that he’s got some unfinished business: his last case, which had him up against Russian mobsters in search of a zip drive loaded with government secrets, isn’t exactly closed. The cop who was supposed to deliver the goods to the FBI went rogue, bringing along a crooked agent and Moonlight’s ex, and now he’s out to sell the hardware to the highest bidder. The FBI wants Moonlight’s help in tracking down the trio—all the way to Florence, Italy—and wooing Lola into handing over the zip drive. He’s just going to have to outwit, outrun, and outshoot the Russian thugs who have their own big plans for the zip drive, and for Moonlight.

Blue Moonlight by Vincent ZandriPublished byISBNAt the request of the author, an ARC EBook Edition was sent, at no cost to me, for my honest review.Synopsis:My Thoughts and Opinion: If you follow my blog, then it won't come as a surprise as to what I think of this novel. Vin Zandri hooked me when I read his first book, Moonlight Falls and he keeps reeling me in with every book since. The quirky PI, Richard "Dick" Moonlight is back and taking the reader on a palpitating chase through the streets of Italy!! Super!! The action and suspense was nonstop leaving me breathless as I read. I found myself reading faster trying to keep up with the fast paced description of the pursuit of Moonlight. The picture that was painted with words, that this masterful author can create, left me breathless. The setting and scenery of Italy were vivid in my mind due to the graphic narrative that Zandri puts forth in his distinct writing style. The characters brought to life. In this novel, the main character, Dick Moonlight, is brought back once again, with his unusual and outlandish, at times even comical, personality. The suspense and action is pure Zandri style writing that is exhilarating, thrilling and page turning from page 1 to the very last word, leaving the reader wanting more on this roller coaster ride of excitement. Vincent Zandri, and I have read every book since Moonlight Falls, is a gifted author that knows how to grab his readers with an extraordinary writing technique that is brilliant and masterful. An author of great talent, that is fantastic and incredible, in his signature delivery of story telling. Another notch on his belt!!! Another enjoyable book for readers!!! However, be prepared, this is a 1-2 seating read, I couldn't put it down!!!My Rating: 5
