This book is what I've been looking for. A slice of life where the op mc is trying to retire and goes through mid to low level hijinks and has a great world building and decent magic system. One of my favorite narrators that knock it out of the park as usual. I can't believe I was ignoring this series in my recommended, i feel foolish.

For me the right mix of RPG and fantasy, no annoying end endless character stats review or skill description. Fast and nice developing story and for me well written and very interesting characters!

Audiobook is unusable. Skipping halfway through chapters and now I can’t even find my last stopping point after the book seemed to have messed up and every chapter is the same. Good story, just poor execution.

Really Really enjoyed this book. If you’re looking for a slow burn yet also fun book, this is for you.
I enjoyed this book most while on a hike or if I had a farm to work.
