About this audiobook
The audiobook features a bonus conversation between Gregg Hurwitz and #1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa Gardner, author of the award-winning Detective D. D. Warren novels.
Evan Smoak returns in The Last Orphan, the next New York Times bestselling Orphan X thriller--when everything changes and everything is at risk.
As a child, Evan Smoak was plucked out of a group home, raised and trained as an off-the-books assassin for the government as part of the Orphan program. When he broke with the program and went deep underground, he left with a lot of secrets in his head that the government would do anything to make sure never got out.
When he remade himself as The Nowhere Man, dedicated to helping the most desperate in their times of trouble, Evan found himself slowly back on the government's radar. Having eliminated most of the Orphans in the program, the government will stop at nothing to eliminate the threat they see in Evan. But Orphan X has always been several steps ahead of his pursuers.
Until he makes one little mistake...
Now the President has him in her control and offers Evan a deal - eliminate a rich, powerful man she says is too dangerous to live and, in turn, she'll let Evan survive. But when Evan left the Program he swore to only use his skills against those who really deserve it. Now he has to decide what's more important - his principles or his life.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I absolutely love this series and get so excited when a new book releases. I read this one in less than 24 hours. The Nowhere Man is back with a new assignment from the President of the United States but is it a worthy cause to take on? Evan Smoak, aka The Nowhere Man, aka Orphan X has been asked by the president to take out Luke Devine a man who blackmails high ranking officials to do his wishes. In the process Evan discovers that two people have been murdered and that they are a worthy cause. This book does not disappoint! There is plenty of action and plot twists and turns. Some of my favorite characters from previous books pop in to help Evan out with this mission. I can't wait for another Orphan X book to come out. I would love to see a movie or movie series made from these books.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If want to start a new series, stop here, this is a great one.like many others in the series I finished this one in one day. I work alone and listen while I work.
This new book adds a lot to this storyline. Here is the point where multiple spin offs could be made because of the character building that has been done.
I don't want to five away any of the story so just listen to it or read it, or he'll do both. Scott Brick does an amazing job becoming the nowhere man and Making you believe this is first person narration. .This book is a one two punch of a storyline with Greg Hurwitz and Scott Brick together.
