About this audiobook

A major new thriller series featuring Ryan Drake - a British CIA agent on his most dangerous mission yet - for fans of Lee Child, David Baldacci and Vince Flynn.

Ryan Drake is a man who finds people who don't want to be found. Once a British soldier, he now works for the CIA, leading an elite investigation team that tracks down missing agents. But his latest mission - to free a prisoner codenamed Maras and bring her back onto US soil within forty-eight hours - is more dangerous than anything his team has attempted before. Despite the risks, the team successfully completes their mission, but for Drake the real danger has only just begun. Faced with a terrible threat, he is forced to go on the run with Maras. Hunted by his former comrades, Drake is left with no choice but to trust a dangerous woman he barely knows.

“A tense heart-pounder with plenty of detail and pace…this book's a winner." JON WISE, WEEKEND SPORT

Great book full of twists and turns. Liked the characters. And the narrator was great too!

Narrator is terrible, had to stop listening after just 10 minutes

True fantasy. Ending is a cop out. Not worth it

It bothers me that I can’t give 5 stars on this one (if I could give 4.5 I would).
The reason why is because, to me the writing was amazing (better than most books of this genre) and the plot was generally good but particular circumstances were insane/nonsensical. Please read/listen to it. It is worth the time. I simply cannot give 5 stars when I compare to other books I have given a 5 star rating too.
My 5 star books are often Vince Flynn, Daniel Silva (recent books are horrible), Jack Carr and Gregg Hurwitz. My 4 stars but occasionally 5 star authors are Brad Thor, and Brian Andrew’s (although the Tier one series had more 5 star books as it progressed)

The story is one that is pretty familiar to literally anyone who has read military/spy thriller type stories. But it's executed very well.
