About this audiobook
In the overlooked moments and routines of our day, we can become aware of God's presence in surprising ways. How do we embrace the sacred in the ordinary and the ordinary in the sacred? Framed around one ordinary day, this book explores daily life through the lens of liturgy, small practices, and habits that form us. Each chapter looks at something?making the bed, brushing her teeth, losing her keys?that the author does every day. Drawing from the diversity of her life as a campus minister, Anglican priest, friend, wife, and mother, Tish Harrison Warren opens up a practical theology of the everyday. Each activity is related to a spiritual practice as well as an aspect of our Sunday worship. Come and discover the holiness of your every day.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was very thought provoking. It helped me to understand how the moments of our day can be transformed into worship. I enjoy listening to it, but have now put it into my Amazon cart so I can study it more in depth.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5a well-times read as i begin seminary - learning from
experiences and the ways of how to enjoy God in the every day life. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Some points were taken too far, I felt, but some very excellent. I particularly liked the chapters on Waiting and Sleep!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Interesting book! Definitely for Christians who hung around other Christians and kind of lost focus of “always give thanks and live your life as a prayer” which happens so many times especially when they start separate themselves from the “sinners”. Religion kills visibility and people try to live heroic lives rather that a daily life of worship and praise. The author has a very good point, the delivery is at time a bit tedious but overall this is a good book, almost a 4 stars to me, a 3,75.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is an interesting book with many thoughts and practices for day by day christian life. Although, I missed bible verses about those subjects which the author wrote about.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such a good book! So many good thoughts in this book and things I hadn’t really considered before.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I wish I had read this book sooner. Comprehensive look at how liturgy can be practiced in the day to day routine of life and by doing so God’s grace and beauty and be more fully realized.
