This was an enjoyable book with all the feels. I found myself switching from laughing to fighting tears. I listened to the audiobook, so I can't really judge the writing. The narrator was new to me but I found her good. She brought the characters to life. Annie is a quirky, interesting character and the supporting characters are also fun. The magical realism aspect was fun, too. This book doesn't really fit into a box. If anything, it might be too many things at once! Some people and things were hard to keep up with. The ending was very satisfying. This book isn't my typical choice, but I did like it.
