Awful. I normally like this author but this was so convoluted. The plot made no sense and there wasn't a single redeemable or likeable character. Thinking Liam was better off dead than having to deal
with these insufferable
people.

The narrator was overly dramatic and didn’t do the book any justice. This felt like listening to a play, not a book with decent character and plot development. I’m not a fan of books that have extended periods of dialogue. The character is unrelatable and makes decisions that don’t make any sense. This was my first book by this author pair in many years. I used to read all their books. I am not certain I’ll read any more.
