About this audiobook

We lit the match. Now we can't stop the mating flame.

The world hasn't seen the likes of me. My power can unmake the gods and the worlds-but only after I mate with the Demigod of Sea and activate the Living Flame inside me.

Mate all day and all night long.

Peachy right?

If only we weren't trapped in the Void where no gods, demons, or mortals are safe. The monsters here? They eat immortals like us as if we're candy. It's hard to have sexy times when we're fending off Titans, cannibals, nasty Ares, and that loose cannon Lucifer.

Plus, if we don't return home before the apocalypse, Earth will turn to dust. Our only option is to let the heat of the mating fever blaze, war zone or not, and make it burn everything in its wake.

Contains mature themes.

I am sad to see this series over, but super excited to get my hands on the spinoff once those are all on audiobook! I am intrigued to get Loki and his demon dukes' story. Overall this series was a solid 4 stars from me. I think this was actually my least favorite book of the 5 but I thought the plot was really good which helped keep it a 4 instead of a 3-3.5.

So in this final book we get to see what mysteries lie in the Void. I really liked how unpredictable it was, the creatures and monsters, and the reveal of the characters we have heard about but hadn't really met yet. I thought Lilith was pretty unhinged haha but she loved her daughter and would do anything to protect her/be there for her, even doing some crazy stuff. I loved Hyperion, I wanted more of him! I thought Tartarus gave some great levity, made me giggle. I was happy to see the gods get what they deserve and how whiney they were at the end haha, like shuuuush you are outmatched! I thought Mari was great, she handled things really well and I liked her strength and vulnerability in this one. I liked the guys but the one big thing that really hurt this story for me was they were focused on really on their "other head" if you know what I mean. They wanted to rescue her and save her, and only really used sexy times as reason to stay/why they wanted her. It was like the only thing on their mind. Mari even mentioned how they should want her because they love her, not for the intimate moments. I like having sexy scenes, don't get me wrong, but it felt like it was pushed really hard, trying to hit a mark maybe with other RH books, but for me it was forced and awkward and unnecessary. I think the other books did a good job with the balance but this one was way off the mark. So I give the plot a 5/5 and the relationships/characters a 3/5. I mean all of it could have been fixed if instead of focusing on screwing her, they mentioned how they loved her. It was a pretty simple solution. Oh and if Axel one more times said he was the first, he should get her, I was gonna throw my phone hahaha. Editing/paring down would have fixed that. I mean, we know how territorial he is, it just could have been done differently a couple of times instead of the same argument every time.

Narration I would give 4 stars. I still don't like the French accents and wish they had different narrators to do those or make them British like one of the books was, because the narrators did a great job there. I think the emotions from the side characters was fabulous (Lilith, Tartarus, the pathetic gods, Hyperion, etc.). I will be listening to both of these narrators again, just not their best when it came to Hector and Ares (from both of them).
