About this audiobook
Linda Windsor
Maryland author Linda Windsor has written some twenty-nine historical and contemporary novels for both the secular and inspirational markets, but she is most noted for delivering “The Lift of Laughter and Spirit” in her modern inspirational romances. A Christy finalist and winner of numerous industry awards, Linda has written for Multnomah Publishing (historical fiction and contemporary romances), Barbour Publishing (romcom novella), and Westbow Press (the Moonstruck romantic comedy trilogy). Wedding Bell Blues, the first book in her new The Piper Cove Chronicles series, is featured on Avon Inspire's launch list. In addition to writing and doing fiction-writing workshops at conferences across the country, Linda continues a music and lay speaking ministry started by her and her late husband, and she is a part-time financial analyst. She also works on “as desperately needed” home improvement projects on the 18th-century-plus house that she and her husband began restoring in 1986. Wallpaper and paint are definitely in her near future.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5As the back cover states: "Mix a sassy senorita an incorrigible Don Juan, and a haunted hacienda, and you get page-turning intrigue and romance". What it failed to say is you also get a lot of humor and laughter from this story. I loved how the author used a pig in this story. It brought many smiles to my face and laughter out loud at times.Corinne Diaz is working in a remote mountain village, volunteering at a local orphanage and loving it. Mark Madison (brother to Blaine if you read book one in this series) has been sent to the village to fix up an abandoned hacienda and make it into something the orphanage can use. Mark is a little full of himself as the story begins and thinks the job he has been sent to do is a little beneath him, but from the moment he comes on the scene life starts to get hilarious. While Corinne and Mark battle with their emotions towards each other, someone seems intent on them not turning the hacienda into an orphanage.Once again the back covers states: "Little do Corinne and Mark realize that while they work to save the project - and their lives - the Mexicalli moon is working on them". Another delightful story in this series.
