Friends to lovers trope which went from nothing to all in. This was a very quick romance.

You have Keeton with limited experience in the boyfriend and bedroom area, and you have Slate, who is a well-known playboy and Keetons best friend. These two are complete opposites, and I can see how they would work, but their story had a very minimal background before their romance kicked off. It seemed to be a situation that caused Keeton an issue, and her only solution was to run to Slate for experience.

I didn't relate with the characters, and their reasonings didn't make sense. The friendship group wasn't very compatible and didn't seem like a good friendship group to Keeton, especially when the final scene happened at the end. I'm not a massive fan of the friends to lovers trope, and this one didn't change my mind, but it was a steamy and quick read.
