Following her divorce, Allison Hartwell leaves Maine for California to become a partner in her college roommate’s art gallery. Judith Keim has loved stories and reading since she was a young girl. She spent hot summer afternoons lost in novels, traveling from her porch in upstate New York to far-flung fictional destinations.
