I enjoyed this so. My favourite element was the strong relationship between Esmeralda and her mother, and the beautiful depiction of the supportive Latinx community that the characters belonged to-so much realer and richer and environment for our romantic leads to spring from and draw on. And a man who respects women and will look out for your mother? *swoon*
