About this audiobook

Tabloid scandals have driven TV star Ryan Hertzog to North Carolina’s Outer Banks, where he’s hiding out doing summer stock at his cousin’s seaside theater. When a hookup with local handyman Trey Donovan results in Ryan being photographed butt naked, he vows to keep his pants on and his hands off Trey. How was he supposed to know Trey would turn out to be the summer stock set builder?

Trey isn’t looking for a relationship; he’s still recovering from the emotional fallout of an abusive marriage. But Ryan’s laughter draws him in again and again, and he’s not about to say no to fooling around.

As the summer heats up, the paparazzi catch Ryan in increasingly compromising situations. Ryan might be too much drama for a summer fling—and Trey might be just an intermission from Ryan’s Hollywood life. But if they take their cues from Shakespeare, all’s well that ends well.

Editor's Note

Sweet and Sexy...

A gossip-fodder actor hides out in a small town, where he has a one-night stand with a guy who’s the set builder for the theater the actor is performing in. Both the protagonists are trying to deal with their respective issues, and while they think they can handle their problems alone, they are handled much better together — if they can find it in themselves to trust. A lovely, sweet, and sexy romance.

Loved this and V North is fast becoming a favourite go to author for me. I was drawn into the lives of the characters, the story kept me interested throughout and didn't want it to end! Narration was also spot on. MM romances are the best lol.

Gotta love an easy going, low angst love story, there’s crossroad or 2, maybe Ryan/Bryan & Trey and West & Allie are just trying figure it all out.

Super cute feel good book. The boys are cute together, not too angsty and the sex is hot. Worth the read. Definitely leaves you with a smile.

Ryan was the most sensitive person I’ve ever read, he got offended at every little thing Trey said that might be perceived negative and he’s meant to be a Hollywood actor? With skin that thin? Makes no sense.
Not to mention it was such lazy writing! Trey and Ryan were crazy for each other until the writer decided drama needed to happen so they’ll have Trey say something mildly insensitive out of nowhere and Ryan will blow it completely out of proportion until Trey grovels back to Ryan. no joke, this happened like four times.
Not to mention Ryan being so harsh with Trey and yet let’s Allie get away with driving under the influence, that Ryan will make all the excuses for her! But if Trey makes a joke he doesn’t like he’s dead to him lol

Anyway everyone kinda sucked in this book, the writing just came off really immature.

Oh also beware that the author writes some pretty acephobic comments through Ryan (ironic considering how easily offended he is) and they aren’t addressed in the book as being problematic
