About this audiobook
Nathaniel and Chasan are no ordinary angels.
Destiny chose them to be twin flames, fated mates. But Nathaniel has avoided Chasan for nearly a thousand years.
When sent to Earth on a mission to live and work together, Nathaniel comes face-to-face with his destiny. Short-tempered, petulant, and grumpy, he hates the idea of being fated to anyone and has chosen an existence of isolation rather than spending time with the calm, kind, and serene Chasan. But now he has no choice.
One is fire, the other is air; a true dichotomy of angels. Together they will be ignited, or they will be extinguished. This assignment will seal their fate either way.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I do like a slow burn but this story was just tedious. It was an interesting premise, and the way the world was built was a fun take on heaven and hell, but I got tired of the manufactured drama keeping the soul mates apart that I didn’t even finish it. Chasan was way too good for Nathaniel and Nathaniel struck me as a super gaslight-y and narcissistic asshole. Didn’t ship them at all because of how subtly abusive Nathaniel was the entire time. Couldn’t finish this book but I usually love N.R. Walker’s stuff. So will try a different one.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Oh my god, it was so stupid! Cute, but really stupid. I usually like books from N.R. Walker, but this one doesnt really hit the spot.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So. Much. Crying.
Like, TJ Klune levels of crying. This book had so much angst and conflicting emotions and I loved it. The funny and sweet moments only made it more intense. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wonderful. It is captivating, I finished it in a day. It has some subtlety and the take on God is novel to me but not preachy. If stories with any kind of gay characters bothers you than this book isn't for you; if you're just worried that there will be to much gay sex it will be okay. And if it is too much then the few appearances of it, which do contribute to the plot, are such that you can actually fast forward past them and not lose the plot or the character development. And if gay sex, but more importantly passion, does appeal to you I think you'll find great (and hot) things in this book.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I just couldn’t buy that angels over a thousand years old hadn’t bothered to root out ingrained sexism in their thoughts and words- they weren’t racist or transphobic and they were gay, so that relatively minor flaw seemed really out of place. I would buy it in humans, but angels? Threw off the whole vibe.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing book, Chasan and Nathaniel story was really good, sweet, heartbreaking and also steamy. This is one of my favorites books! Nick J. Russo was excellent narrating this book!!!
