Reviews for Storytelling

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Its awfully outdated. The author sounds like a 40 year old mom who hasn't had a friend or a decent conversation in 13 years, and now she decided she would write a book. People just don't talk like this anymore, moreover, they don't fall for these "hooks". It doesn't seem to do much with storytelling, just telling stories with the personality of a dead, flat, outstretched balloon.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Imi place aceasta carte, clara, concisa , la obiect si frumos povestita ea însăși. Mulțumesc
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Really undermined by the poor performance of the narrator. He doesn't know how to tell a story. I literally had to rewind because I lost interest during a story about a shark attack.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very book useful with simple tips that I feel like trying out myself.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A quick and entertaining look at stories: What they are, why we tell them, and how they work.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Thank you very much for sharing this techniques . Very well narrated
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very short, but fully packed with useful and practical information that I found helpful. However, I will need to go through it again with a notebook to fully digest this audio book. I think this book can work well as your first read on storytelling, or if you’ve been reading other titles, this can also be a great summary that puts things together.
The narration style and quality is top notch! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Short, but decent. Worthwhile putting on and listening to, probably need to listen or read twice to get the full value.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing book! I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their storytelling skills and qualities.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Brief and to-the-point, this book taught me more about storytelling than any other. Full of useful, practical advice. Recommended.
