About this audiobook
A remarkable vision for how Christians can live with countercultural gentleness in a perpetually angry, attacking, outraged time.
“Wow! What a great book!" -- Max Lucado
In a defensive and divided era, how can followers of Jesus reveal a better way of living, one that loves others as God loves us? How can Christians be the kind of people who are known, as Proverbs puts it, to "turn away wrath?" Scott Sauls's compelling new audiobook points the way by helping listeners:
- grow in affection for Christ, who answers our hostility with gentleness;
- nurture a renewed, softened heart in light of Christ's gentleness toward us;
- and forsake us-against-them mentalities, putting down our swords, and permeating a hostile world with gentleness.
For those who long for a more civil way of being, A Gentle Answer provides an inspiring and transformative path for countercultural gentleness in our perpetually angry, attacking, outraged time.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5While I don’t agree with everything he has to say, there is much here to prayerfully consider. In the times we currently live in I cannot think of anything as counter culture as a gentle answer.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This is an agenda basis book, scripture used accordingly. Same talking points of those who are afraid to preach the Word in season and out of season. Very sad.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was touching and truthful. It enhanced my spirituality. Easy to understand with engaging examples.
