Description

On this episode Phillip and his cousin Chip have a discussion about Sol Madrid from 1968 starring David McCallum and Stella Stevens, among others. They start the show by reading a recent comment about last week's show, Cry of the Wild (1973). Then Phillip talks about a cosmic coincidence that happened to him earlier in the week. Phillip then gives a shoutout to twitter follower named @sampanico and his blog at www.bandsaboutmovies.com. So check his website out. He is reviewing all the movies that have been talked about on The Video Archives Podcast. Then Tim Martin, a friend of the show, wanted to let everyone know that his indiegogo page for his feature film is up and running at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/beyond-the-mezzanine?utm_source=lifecycle&utm_medium=email#/. So send those guys some money, it would really help them out. Phillip then reads the general information for Sol Madrid. It's then time to hear the Listener Opinions from Instagram and Twitter. Then it's time to discuss this week's film. They discuss the acting and fight scenes, among other things, and have a good conversation. They individually rate the movie and discuss why. Then it's time for Phil's Film Favorite of the Week (There are 3.); Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie (2023), Speed (1994), and Steel (1979). The randomizer then picks the movie for next week and it is....The Dion Brothers AKA The Gravy Train (1974). We hear a radio spot for the movie, and that's our show. Thanks for listening.
