Description

On this week's episode, Phillip and his cousin Chip discuss a Canadian documentary that played at the 6th QT Fest in Austin, TX in 2005. First though, they talk about an upcoming project that a friend of the show, Tim Martin, has going on, a feature length film called Beyond the Mezzanine that Tim cowrote and will direct. The synopsis is; with the revitalization of the once magnificent Colman Theatre, a young aspiring actress finds herself trapped between her devotion and her reality. The indiegogo for crowdfunding will be out Monday or early next week, so keep an eye out. Then Phillip reads the general information about the Canadian 1973 nature documentary, Cry of the Wild. It's then time for Listener Opinions from Instagram and Twitter, to hear what people thought of the documentary. Chip and Phillip then discuss the good and the bad of Cry of the Wild. They then individually rate the movie 1 to 5, and talk about whether they would buy, rent, or find this movie for free. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). Then it's time for the randomizer to pick the next movie, and it does. Come back on May 19th for...Sol Madrid AKA The Heroin Gang (1968). Thanks for listening.
