Description
In today’s powerful conversation, we are joined by Edy Nathan to discuss Sexual Grief.
Edy is the first clinician to label and coin the term Sexual Grief accurately and in today’s episode, Edy will break down what Sexual Grief is, what the symptoms are, who is affected by this, and what we can do about it, as well as walk us through a self-regulating technique and the differences between the stages and phases of grief.
Edy is a LCSWR, AASECT certified sex therapist, hypnotherapist, certified EMDR practitioner, Psychology Today blogger, international speaker, and workshop innovator with more than 20 years of experience.
Edy is also the author of "It’s Grief: The Dance of Self-Discovery through Trauma and Loss,” but be sure to stay tuned as her new book on Sexual Grief has yet to be published. With Edy bringing the 'grief' element into focus as it aligns with sexually traumatic events or experiences, her evolutionary project brings insight into the way loss affects the soul and the brain. Edy uses these insights to breathe new meaning into the lives of those stagnated and hijacked by their developmental losses or trauma.
