Medical school is incredibly rigorous and challenging. Successful medical students have routines. Barriers and guidelines to help them stay focused and accomplish the goals they’ve worked so hard for. In this episode, we talk about adding some structure to your schedule. Why you should. How you should. You'll want to take care of yourself physically through exercise and proper diet. You'll need to remain social through friends and clubs. You'll need to take care of your mind and spirit through religious worship (if you are religious), and through other intellectually stimulating tasks.
The best mentors are real life mentors. Find many and keep in touch with them. They will be your greatest resource throughout your journey in medicine.
