This means athletes could potentially earn money through endorsements, sponsorships, and other commercial opportunities. The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) also took steps to change its rules to allow NIL compensation, though the specifics varied.
Revenue sharing, in the context of college football, might involve sharing a portion of the revenue generated by college sports programs with the athletes. However, it's essential to note that as of my last update, this concept was not widespread, and any form of revenue sharing with athletes beyond NIL compensation was not a standard practice.
