In this episode, we chat with Kasumi Kobo, founder of Kaptured By Kobo, and share her whole hockey story from leaving her home in Japan to play in Canada as a teenager, to becoming the captain of her Junior team, to being a recruited athlete, who has now started & is running her own successful business at age 23. We also talk about how she has overcome some big challenges with a death in the family, multiple concussions, and mental health issues - and highlight how all those challenges have made her who she is and led her to where she is today.

This is a truly amazing story of a PHOENIX rising out of the ashes who has built an amazing life after some incredible hardships and has been an inspiration to young players, teammates, entrepreneurs and yours truly for years.
