What an experience it would be!  Why not consider volunteering your time for a week, a few weeks or even a month here in the Southern Caribbean town of Puerto Viejo at the Jaguar Rescue Center?!
You'll be living among the animals in a deep jungle habitat. . .talk about getting away from it all.
This rescue center and others like it always are looking for volunteers to help nurse sick and injured animals back to health.
