Description

I always get asked this question when I speak to someone who is about to visit Costa Rica.  They're scared that they won't be able to communicate to anyone.  The fact is that a lot of Ticos and Ticas do speak English and I don't think you will have a problem communicating.
However, LEARN A LITTLE BIT OF SPANISH!  You'll HAVE SO MUCH MORE FUN interacting among the people!  You'll LEARN more about the life here in Costa Rica and You'll APPRECIATE your time spent here!
My suggestion would be to start by downloading, "DuoLingo" to your phone.  A free venue that will help you a lot in a short period of time.  Start there and enjoy the process!
Pura Vida mi amigo.  Cuando hablamos otra vez, yo quiero hablarte solo en espanol!  As always, thanks for listening!
