Description

Which author do you want to be? What would you like your style to be like? In order to develop your author’s voice, you need to understand both your primal state and your ideal state. Your primal state is how you write without deliberate practice. Your ideal state is how you would write if you could be any author you want. The way you craft your author’s voice is by finding the sweet middle between your primal and ideal state. While you do not want to write without deliberate practice, you do not want to simply copy your favorite authors. The process of developing your voice is the process of taking and leaving from those who inspire you. Join The Word Leader Facebook Community to learn more about writing, connect with like-minded fellows, and get support in your writing journey.
