A year ago, KJ Jefferson delivered an outstanding performance with a record-breaking five touchdown passes during a significant road victory against BYU. He has thrown five touchdowns, leading the Razorbacks to decisive victories against Western Carolina and Kent State. Arkansas has been dominant, outscoring their opponents 84 to 20. On the other side, BYU's quarterback, Kedon Slovis, has shown proficiency with a 65 percent completion rate, four touchdowns, and one interception in wins against Sam Houston and Southern Utah. Nonetheless, the Cougars face a challenge with an unbalanced offense that averages only 79 rushing yards per game. BYU aims to make a positive impression on behalf of the Big 12, which they recently joined during the ongoing college football conference realignment.
