Description
When we talk about love, we often mean "love" as a feeling rather than what love is in action. Second, and most importantly, what love is for the person receiving it (in this case, the other person is your own child).Sure, we unconditionally love our child, but what does that even mean? What does that REALLY mean to you? Because let's face it, we know there will be times that love is challenged. As moms and dads, we love our children, though not always like everything they do. So, through those challenging times, how are we showing love in a way that the child feels, not just in a way that we believe love is felt? And how is our idea of love influenced by how we grew up to understand love to be?We discuss all these and more in today's episode about the child's perspective and the parent's perspective of love. The concept of love is more profound than the way love comes up in the mainstream. This topic is so important to understand in its deepest level so that our children grow up to know love in the purest form possible. However, this means that there will parts of you that need to be questioned and examined so that you become self-aware to the parts of you that need more love. This episode is my first with my new co-host Inas Aquiningoc, father of two and advocate for holistic parenting. Support the show
