The Longhorns won't outmuscle Bama on the lines, nor will they adopt a smash-mouth approach for substantial yardage gains. Instead, QB Quinn Ewers and the potent passing game that shone early last year will launch a relentless offensive assault right from the beginning, targeting an already injury-ridden secondary.

Ewers completed 9 of 12 passes in last year's 20-19 loss before being sidelined. Xavier Worthy's five receptions for 97 yards set the tone, leaving Alabama scrambling to defend.

Alabama still needs to demonstrate that its defense can consistently contain a high-octane offense. The 56-7 victory over Middle Tennessee didn't truly test them, and Ewers now has an array of weapons at his disposal.

While Ohio State may boast some of the nation's top receiving targets, the Longhorns aren't just relying on Worthy. With playmakers like Isaiah Neyor, TE Ja'Tavion Sanders, and Adonai Mitchell, this receiving corps could prove to be the toughest challenge Bama faces all season.
