Today we are joined by psychotherapist Cory Scott, who shares about her struggles with disordered eating stemming from generational trauma and what healing has looked like for her over several decades. We also dive deep into EMDR - as well as discuss the somatic tool HeartMath and tips for finding the right trauma therapist.Cory is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a EMDRIA certified Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, a licensed yoga teacher (RYT-500), and a certified breath coach, as well as a VITA™ Sex, Love, and Relationship coach. She is also currently completing training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. After years working as a therapist and studying highly specialized trauma and nervous system integration, she transitioned to her greatest passion: coaching. Cory helps highly successful people resolve the trauma patterns that have kept them stuck so they can find freedom and expansion beyond their wildest dreams.
