While pregnant with her third daughter, Dr. Jaime tragically lost one of her best friends, and the experience made her consider her mortality for the first time. Wanting to be an example for her patients and daughters, she started walking the walk and went from pre-diabetic and sedentary to strong and healthy. Health is all-encompassing, and being Hard to Kill is about more than being physically fit. In the book, Dr. Jaime covers the five pillars of becoming Hard to Kill and the steps you can take to get there. This was one of my favorite interviews, and Dr. Jaime shared a ton of actionable recommendations.
