What if your feelings of inadequacy had nothing to do with you? What if they were because you have been conditioned as a woman and a mom that no matter what you do, it will never be enough? Perhaps you have been conditioned to believe that everyone else has it all figured out. Perhaps you are never validated or affirmed as a woman and a mom because society has systematically dismissed and diminished our value, our contributions, and our worth for centuries.  
Perhaps those feelings of inadequacy, while very real, are not yours to own.  
Perhaps the burden to alleviate those feelings falls on the systems and people who have diminished us. But they don’t know that. They don’t see that. And until they do, it’s up to us to undo their damage.
