She is originally from the East coast and landed in San Diego in 2008. She is married with two children, an eight year old daughter and two year old son. Her daughter’s birth led her to birth work in 2012, and since then she has attended over 250 births in hospitals, birth centers and in homes. She has experience supporting families as their birth doula, monitrice, midwife, lactation educator counselor, placenta encapsulation specialist and vaginal steam herbal consultant.  Reproductive wellness, pregnancy & birth, and women's health are Courtney’s passion, and she is always eager to learn more.
