Description
There will be a different face under center for the Steelers when they rematch the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Kenny Pickett will be taking snaps in place of Mitch Trubisky, who the Bengals had to deal with back in the season-opening overtime loss to Pittsburgh. That will post a new challenge for Cincinnati's top-10 ranked defense as Pickett has shown some flashes in an otherwise rough start for himself this season.
Things will look a lot more different as well as the Steelers won't have wide receiver threat Chase Claypool, who was traded to the Chicago Bears before the trade deadline. But other than that, the tried-and-true AFC North rivalry doesn't change as the Bengals are still seeking their first divisional win.
Pittsburgh's offense has been a big part of their lethargic 3-6 start. Running back Najee Harris hasn't been as successful in the pass catching game as he was last year. The Steelers have only scored six offensive touchdowns, with no receiving touchdown being longer than 10 yards.
So, how will the Bengals and their defense avenge the Week 1 loss by slowing down Pickett and company? The Strictly Stripes crew explains what has to go right in a new but familiar matchup this weekend.
This podcast features Mohammad Ahmad and Michael Niziolek.
