The Cincinnati Bengals are in good shape to open the second half of the 2022 season.
After a well-rested bye week, the Bengals take advantage of that with a crucial 37-30 victory over Pittsburgh on the road. Although far from perfect, the Bengals' offense did what it needed to do without Ja'Marr Chase or Joe Mixon, who exited the game with a concussion.
Defensively, Cincinnati continued showing why it's a second-half team, allowing just a field goal and a garbage time touchdown. However, the Bengals have an even taller task at hand. They head to Tennessee this weekend to face a physical, dominant AFC South opponent in a rematch of last year's divisional playoff game.
The Bengals won that playoff battle 19-16, but that was last year. Tennessee just might be more challenging than they were last season. The Titans still have Derrick Henry and a bullish pass rush that will continue testing an offensive line that's been battled tested in its first real season together.
With lots on the line for both teams in this November rematch, the Strictly Stripes crew breaks down where the Bengals are headed collectively as a team and why.
