Description

There's been a lot of talk lately about whether it's okay for a dietitian to call herself a coach or health coach. As someone who's been coaching since the beginning of my career as an RD, I have a slightly different perspective on this. In today’s episode, I share my views on coaching with hopes to bring even more awareness to a set of skills I use effectively in my career as a dietitian.   WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE The coaching skills and standards that are required to be an effective coach. Why you would want to be trained in coaching before adding the term behind your credentials. Whether or not someone can actually coach from their own life experiences. How the coaching standard and skills directly relate back to what we do for our clients and how honing these skills can be beneficial to the dietetics profession as a whole.   FEATURED ON THE SHOW The “Charge What You’re Worth” private mentoring program Join my NEW Facebook Group “Money Mindset & Marketing for RD Entrepreneurs”    SUBSCRIBE & REVIEW on iTunes Are you subscribed to the podcast?
