In this episode we talk with Valerie Trew, the Director at the University of Guelph Child Care and Learning Centre in Guelph, Ontario. Valerie is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a Master of Arts in Leadership. She also teaches in the Bachelor of Applied Science program at the University of Guelph and Guelph-Humbe applying a lens of social and environmental justice to studies in policy, administration, and leadership.Valerie views teaching from early learning to post-secondary as a political act and does so with a view to provoke radical social transformation towards a post-colonial world.
