Bruce Cassidy called out Phil Kessel, Jonathan Marchessault and the goaltending (aka Adin Hill) in Monday night's post-game presser. Cassidy relegated Kessel to just one shift in the third period and didn't like Marchessault's effort defensively on the Skinner goal. He also talked about how his goaltender needs to make stops, especially on nights when VGK is not scoring goals. Cassidy said Monday that he will split the starts between Hill and Logan Thompson down the middle due to the heavy schedule and lack of practice time between games.
